MyCha's soft serve is definitely a showstopper, especially the one with the gold-wrapped scoop ... it looks stunning!! The matcha flavor is legit, rich, and earthy, but the texture is a little on the lighter side. Not as creamy as I was expecting, especially compared to the ones I've had in Japan, which had a fuller, more velvety feel. Still, it's a solid treat, and the presentation alone makes it worth trying at least once!
Ceremonial grade matcha. You can taste the match flavor but the soft serve $7.50 isn't as smooth or soft serve as I would have liked. The ice cream isn't as creamy. It's more grainy texture. The gold paper doesn't taste like anything. You're just paying for the prettiness. $12.12 Cone or Cup is same price. Lots of seats area. Fast service.
I have been wanting to try this place and I'm so happy I did! The matcha here is great! Very earthy and not overly sweet which i appreciate. Service was amazing and the ambiance was cute. There is tons of parking available as well. It is a tad bit pricey (9$ for a drink) so I won't be a regular here but I do want to come back and explore their menu.
My husband got the matcha and asked for it unsweetened, but they said the matcha was pre-mixed and they couldn't adjust the sweetness. Thankfully, it actually wasn't too sweet, so we were still able to enjoy the taste of the matcha. I got the mango green tea (less sweet), and it was really good too. I do think the seats look pretty old and disheveled, so it didn't make me want to sit and hang around for long. Maybe a refresh on the furniture is needed.
MyCha is a hidden matcha gem in GG! They have a wide selection of matcha treats. We've had their soft serve many times and recently got into the Matcha Cloud. A bit priced for their drinks and desserts but they don't skimp out on the portions or quality. We love that they try to keep the matcha true to its taste and not overly sweeten their drinks or desserts. Love it here.
Food: The matcha sundae is so good! It's super rich in matcha flavor, and the toppings that come with it make it even better. Service: The worker was really nice! Ambiance: The place is small but really clean and neat. I loved the back seating area with all the board games and entertainment. There's a chill vibe!
